Figure 7.20 was taken shortly after dawn on another hazy day, but this image lends itself to interpretation as a delicate, high-key image.

The black and white adjustment layer or the gradient map layer could both be utilized on this image. Both methods will be addressed to give alternatives.

Make sure your histogram palette is visible for this conversion technique.
